Consumer Loans
Consumer Loans (or consumer credit) -- any loan or extension of credit to an individual for personal, family, or household use not involving real estate, although home equity loans and home equity lines of credit are often considered to be among this category .
What we offer:
Pacific Trust Bank has great rates on a wide variety of fixed-rate and variable-rate consumer loans, including loans for the purchase or refinance of automobiles, trucks, recreational vehicles, boats and even airplanes.
We also make savings deposit-secured loans, and unsecured personal term loans and lines of credit. Personal lines of credit are often used as overdraft protection for checking accounts.
Loans secured by a balance maintained in either your savings account or a certificate of deposit can be useful for a variety of purposes, including intra-family loans (with the borrower one family member, and the depositor providing the collateral for the loan being a different family member).
What we don't offer:
Credit cards and store charge accounts are also types of consumer credit. However, Pacific Trust Bank does not believe that this type of credit is generally in the best interest of the borrower, and does not offer these products.
Who can get a loan?
Any one is eligible to apply for a Pacific Trust Bank loan. No deposit relationship is required, but of course we hope you will do all of your banking with us. As it says in our middle name, we're a lender you can "Trust". All loans are calculated by simple interest, with our interest rates and loan terms clearly spelled out.
