Most of our customers appreciate the peace of mind as well as added spending power of our checking account Overdraft Protection options.

With Overdraft Protection, you can write checks or request transactions that would normally exceed the available balance in your checking account, and avoid the cost and embarrassment of having your transaction denied or check returned.

Are you taking full advantage of our Overdraft Protection Options?

Have funds transferred automatically to your checking account as needed.
We will only transfer the amount necessary to clear your transactions.
Link your Overdraft Line of Credit, or
Link your Home Equity Line of Credit.
And, link one or more of your other Pacific Trust checking or savings accounts.*
If you specify one or more accounts and a line of credit for overdraft protection, the overdraft loan account will be the last one in line from which to fund your checking account overdraft transactions.

* There is no fee for overdraft transfers from a line of credit. An overdraft transfer fee and/or excess account activity fee may apply for savings or checking account overdraft transfers (see our Schedule of Fees and Charges).

Per Federal regulations, the number of overdraft transfers per month from each savings account is limited. You may not make more than six withdrawals or transfers to another bank account of yours or to a third party by means of a pre-authorized or automatic transfer or telephonic order or instruction. No more than three of the six transfers may be initiated by check, draft, debit card, if applicable, or similar order to a third party.
